A creepy crawly episode~
COCKROACH in my room!!
First, a short crazy cockroach episode from Gintama anime as the introduction... :P



Cockroach
An insect that strikes fear or anger in everyone.
A single word can cause havoc. Suddenly you can hear screamings and whackings.
Well it happened that a cockroach ran into my room yesterday night. And I screamed! lol. A common reaction among girls I think. Screaming for their parents' or brother's help. Though there are some brave girls.
So while my father was bravely trying to find and catch that creepy thing, my mum, my sis and me were just cowering outside in fright.
Hey! We didn't just close the door and leave him alone to fight the cockroach while we comfortably soak in the cockroachless living room. Although there was a strong urge to just run away. lol.
So we helped by handing him some weapons as my father ordered.
Dad: Broomstick!
Me: Wah Dad, catching the snitch or the cockroach?
Sis: Hmm, a flying cockroach looks like the snitch.
Me: Oh ya hor! But I've checked. We don't have Firebolt or Nimbus 2000.
Dad: Oi! The kill cockroach broom la!
Me: Oh! You mean parang? Or katana. Or Zanpakutou, or--"
Dad: Normal broomstick! Or you catch it yourself hor...
"Oh okok..."
Ignoring the above "made-up" speech, we got him a broomstick, a chair and a plastic bag.
So while he was finding the cockroach after it zoomed out of my cupboard and to somewhere near my table,
The rest were doing some sort of cheerleading.
"Dad! Do you want a torchlight?"
"Dad, Do you need an insecticide or pesticide?"
"No need la! I'll just whack till it suicides."
With that, he and we(behind) were trying to find that creepy crawly for a few minutes.
In vain.
No way will I spend my night in my room knowing that a cockroach is crawling around somewhere!
Although some pro life activist will protest against cockroach homicide,
I really think I'll get a nightmare, probably imagining some huge dark brown oval creature with six hairy legs and feelers crawling over my face.
Or about Fear Factor and its ice blended cockroach juice. GROSS!
Ok I shall not go on with the description lol.
After a search with the torchlight, we found it!
Hiding at a dark spot at the corner of my room, where my room light failed to reach.
Smart HOR!
I think it must have read the hidden stack of ninja manuals in my room.
(There are lots of books in my room as I've recently borrowed them from the library)
So yeah! It's caught! Three cheers for the brave hero! lol.
